摘　要：The impact of color has been extensively documented in the literature of psychology and biology. This paper is the first attempt to investigate the impact of color on decision making in a laboratory setting using a randomized control design. Overall, we find significant impact of color on social decision making but not on individual decision making. In the Andreoni-Miller dictator game, when giving increases the social pie, red subjects give less than white subjects; otherwise, red subjects give less than green subjects. In the trust game, red trustees reciprocate less than blue trustees. In the ultimatum game, red subjects are more demanding than blue subjects. In both the public goods game and the sequential prisoners' dilemma, red subjects cooperate less than green subjects. Further analysis of gender difference shows that females are more sensitive to the influence of color.

主讲人简介：Prof. Wei Huang is an Assistant Professor in Department of Decision Sciences and Managerial Economics in The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School. His research interests include economics and psychology, applied microeconomic theory, and experimental economics. His research work is published on Management Science.
