Xiaozu WANG – Chinese Professor of Finance

Xiaozu Wang teaches Corporate Finance and Chinese Financial Markets at School of Management of Fudan Unviersity. He is also an honorary professor of School of Business of Hong Kong University, and an honorary professor of BI Norwegian Business School. His research interests include corporate governance, capital markets and transition economy. He has published in economics and finance in international academic journals, including Journal of Financial Intermediation and Economics of Transition.
Before joining Fudan University, he was an assistant professor at City University of Hong Kong, 1998-2003. He was a visiting professor Seoul National University of South Korea, 2003-2004. He regularly talks to international media on Chinese economy and Chinese financial markets. He conducted trainings on financial management and Chinese economy for a wide range of international companies, including China Merchant Bank, ICBS, Disney, DHL, Henkel. He has been an independent director on boards of a number of Chinese companies. He served as a consultant for The World Bank on issues related to corporate governance in China, and a consultant for United Nations on Chinese economy. |
