In order to help students improve their competitiveness and broaden their horizons, Fudan MBA Program has been cooperating with top business schools such as MIT Sloan School of Management, Yale School of Management, and York University Schulich School of Business in Canada to provide dual-degree study opportunities for MBA students.
Fudan MBA alumnus Liu Jiaming obtained his second degree in Yale. In addition to courses at the business school, he could also follow courses from the law school, the school of music, etc. The diverse cultural backgrounds of his classmates has allowed them the opportunity to learn coordinating various factors when working as a team. An entrepreneur himself, Liu noticed that Yale attaches great importance to social responsibility. Meanwhile, many of his essential resources and customers from the U.S. come from the alumni or mentors from Yale.
To Liu Dahai, MIT is a very typical entrepreneurial-oriented school, which perfectly fits his original intention of further exploring in innovation and entrepreneurship. MIT provided him with both diversified courses and abundant social networking resources, which tremendously broadened his horizons. His study at MIT helped him better understand that entrepreneurship is not just about economic benefits, but also about creating a positive social impact.
