Fudan MBA Join Round Table: Time Management

The Fudan MBA “Join Round Table” forum aims to offer guidance and advice from professors and alumni to the newly enrolled MBAs. In this new release, four alumni talked about their experience on time management.

Pan Xiang from Fudan MBA Class of 2019 and Cheng Wenting from Fudan International MBA Class of 2022 both believe in the goal-oriented time management: concentrate on courses, projects and activities in line with our positioning, expectations we want to satisfy upon graduation, our career development plan for the future, etc. They remind the students that in this era of information explosion and of social media, especially with the rich opportunities and resources provided on the Fudan platform, we can easily get distracted and find ourselves lost if we don’t master the art of time management and energy management.

Wu Di from Fudan MBA Class of 2022 emphasized that we can often achieve more and reach our full potential with a peaceful mind; meanwhile, he lays great weight on setting priorities according to personal values and preferences. He also benefits a lot from making good use of fragmented time.

For Zeng Song, principles for investment management are also applicable for time management: how much we gain is closely related to how much and how wisely we invest. The alumni all agree that support and understanding from the family plays a key part in their efficiency.
