In his lecture at the recent Fudan MBA Join Forum, Professor Li Zhiguo from the Department of Applied Economics, Fudan University School of Management, emphasized that the transition of China's economy from fast growth to high-quality development relies heavily on technological progress and innovations. He then focused his speech on the rise of the green industry. Not only does our energy generation system need a total transformation to become cleaner, low-carbon, and more efficient, executives of enterprises must also keep the ESG concepts in mind in their operation so as to promote the development of a greener economy.
Then Mr. Gu Yongjiu, Fudan MBA alumnus from the Class of 2014, Founder, Chairman and GM of Changzhou Yougu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd, delivered a lecture on opportunities and future challenges in the wind energy industry. He pointed out that at this moment wind energy is a very promising sector in China, and with the continuous reduction of resources for land-based wind energy, the future of the wind power industry lies offshore. Meanwhile, construction of larges-scale offshore wind farm will bring new challenges to technology development as well as to the management of enterprise.
