Thailand-China Project Presented Mid-term Reports for the 2023 Fudan MBA iLab Business Consulting Practicum

All 25 teams with 125 Fudan IMBA students have completed their mid-term report for the 2023 Fudan MBA iLab Business Consulting Practicum. As an important part of the Practicum, the Thailand-China business consulting project involve the joint effort of MBA students from both Fudan University School of Management (FDSM) and Sasin School of Management, Chulalongkorn University.

The BYD Auto (Thailand) project team aims to explore the opportunities and challenges for the development of EV pickups in Thailand, while the Bangkok Bank project team has been doing research on the collaboration between the bank and China Chamber of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME).

For the representation of the mid-term report, Dr. Chaipong Pongpanich, Deputy Dean of the Sasin School of Management, and Thai MBA students involved in these projects paid a visit to FDSM. During their one-week stay, students from both schools also went to see the Auto Shanghai 2023, and travelled to Beijing for company visits.

Since its launch in 2019, Thailand-China Lab has been providing a fantastic platform for both Fudan IMBA and Sasin MAB students to put in use what they have learned from the classroom and broaden their horizons. Both schools expressed their wish to further promote their collaboration, to strengthen the connections between the two cultures as well as to create more opportunities for business cooperation among companies from the two countries.
