Mid-term Reports of the 2023 Fudan MBA iLab Business Consulting Practicum

As participants of the 2023 Fudan MBA iLab Business Consulting Practicum, 25 teams with 125 MBA students have been working closely with companies on projects in the fields of new energy, information technology, medical health, etc. In addition, a new category of projects with a focus on the investment sector has been created this year. So far all student teams have submitted their mid-term reports.

To figure out a solution to effectively promote the smart home dialysis among Chinese patients with chronic kidney disease, the team working with Kunshan Weirui Medical Technology has conducted field research and interviews in several hospitals in Shanghai. The team working with Ningbo NBT Measurement and Control Technology has taken advantage of the diversity of the team members in their effort to provide innovative branding and marketing plans for the test equipments for lithium batteries and fuel cells. The team in collaboration with Boke Technology has been striving to verify the values and the feasibility of  the business model “video games + cultural tourism”. So far they have carried out researches on the cultural tourism industry and consumer characteristics and obtained a large amount of valuable data. The Zhi Jewel team aims to find a path for the private domain operation for this cosmetic brand, and the members have found their professional background in advertising, consulting, new media and consumer goods sector very helpful in their research.

After the mid-term report, representatives from the partner companies spoke highly of the professionalism and communication skills of the Fudan MBA students, as well as the strategic flexibility and the quantitative analysis methods put into use.
