In a recent open lecture, Professor Li Xuhong, Director of the Business Management Department from Fudan University School of Management, delivered a lecture on leadership in the era of sci-tech innovation.
On the basis of classic leadership competency models, Professor Li proposed the “sci-tech innovation plus leadership” model, so as to identify the profile of qualified leaders of sci-tech innovation enterprises.
After in-depth case studies of numerous Chinese and foreign innovative entrepreneurs, Professor Li encouraged leaders in the sci-tech innovation era to gain the forward-looking technological thinking; to conduct original and meaningful innovation based on insights into the industry; to keep learning with an empty cup mentality, and always pursue building better products.
After the lecture, Professor Li and Professor Feng Tianjun, Director of the Fudan MBA Program, announced together the creation of the “Fudan Join Innovation Leadership Development Initiative”.
Having launched the “Sci-Tech Innovation Strategy” in 2020 and an overall upgrade of its talent development scheme in 2022, Fudan University School of Management has been striving to empower sci-tech innovation with management.
