Training tomorrow’s executives in China

Oslo Week was held at the World Expo fair in Shanghai. BI has hosted three different event at the Norwegian pavilion

Since 1996, more than 1500 students have graduated from the collaboration between Fudan University, one of the leading Chinese universities, and BI Norwegian School of Management. Of these, 85 per cent are Chinese middle managers with positions in international companies that are establishing operations all over the world. Every year, 240 new students in four classes receive training.

“BI Norwegian School of Management was the first educational institution in the world to receive an approved MBA in China. We now have almost 15 years’ experience with this work and few other European management schools are as well represented in China as BI,” says Tom Colbj?rnsen, President of BI Norwegian School of Management.

BI students also want to go to China

Every year, BI Norwegian School of Management also sends 25 Norwegian third-year international marketing bachelor students to Fudan University for a one-year exchange programme. Due to an increased interest from Norwegian students, starting in the autumn of 2010, BI Norwegian School of Management will increase this number to 38 exchange students. Each year, about 47 BI students also enter an exchange programme at the Technological University in Singapore.
