Position Summary:
Associate Directors are liaisons to senior management to help clients identify and capture purpose-led growth opportunities. Associate Directors are expected to combine both “right” and “left” brain skills across engagements to enhance client deliverables and elevate organizational thinking.
Associate Directors take an active role in managing projects, leading junior teams, developing existing clients and developing the practices to include training, development and recruiting. Travel is expected to be a part of all client engagements, but usually does not exceed 25% of time requirements.

Role Details:
Associate Directors are responsible for managing project work streams and ensuring the timely delivery of all client deliverables. Associate Directors also function as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and partners, coordinating all aspects of the delivery for both the executive and junior teams. As such, Associate Directors are fully expected to be leaders and stewards of the business, fully versed in our offer and involved in business development.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Guide analytic team to deliver on project timelines
· Coordinate and manage senior team, client, vendor, and partner relationships
· Structure project approach for team execution
· Lead business development in the crafting and delivery of proposals
· Mentor junior team members and establish meaningful relationships across the business
Associates can expect the atmosphere to be intense, in line with premiere management consulting firms. Tactically, day to day activities may include:
· Written and verbal client, vendor, partner communication
· Project management, team structuring/ coordination
· Document review/ feedback
· Delivery to senior team/ client
· Powerpoint slide creation for proposals, analytic plans, client deliverables, etc.

Qualifications:
· Strong academic background, including MBA or other professional degree from a top university required
· Previous experience in consulting, other professional service or marketing experience is required
· Prior experience in a related field is a plus, but is not required. Fresh MBAs with a strong interest in strategy consulting, finance and marketing are preferred
· Strong project management skills and demonstrated leadership skills
· Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills; brand savvy
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
· Ability to take initiative and to work independently and within a team
· Interest in mentoring and fostering junior team members
· Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
· Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
