Four Student Teams Won in the Final of the 2nd Fudan MBA iLab Business Challenge

After a month of fierce competition among the 12 student teams, the 2nd Fudan MBA iLab Business Challenge came to its final on August 21st.

The Fudan MBA iLab Business Challenge was created to offer a platform for the students to enhance their consulting skills in solving real business problems and empower the enterprise with their expertise in management. In cooperation with Shanghai Jahwa, the 2nd Fudan MBA iLab Business Challenge focused on exploring how enterprises should implement ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategies.

The 12 teams conducted research on four aspects related to the business of Shanghai Jahwa: supply chain management, zero-carbon products, public welfare planning and enterprise data management, and defended their solutions during the final. Each team had 10 minutes for presentation, followed by 20 minutes of defense in front of the jury. The 4 winning teams for each of the four areas were rewarded respectively with RMB 10,000 and other prizes offered by Shanghai Jahwa.

Professor Lu Xiongwen, Dean of the School of Management, Mr. Pan Qiusheng, Chairman and CEO of Shanghai Jahwa, as well as the jury composed of numerous professors from Fudan Universities School of Management and senior executives from Shanghai Jahwa, were very impressed by the students’ smooth performance, eloquence, professionalism and excellent capacity to retain new things. The students also expressed how much they appreciated the rare opportunity to deepen their understanding of the industry, practice what they’ve learned in the classroom, as well as work closely with excellent like-minds.
