Pietro Reichlin is Professor of Economics and Vice-provost for Reasearch at LUISS Guido Carli University, in Rome. His main felds of interest are Macroeconomics, Monetary Theory, Financial Markets and Business Cycle He also is a Research Fellow at CEPR, a Visiting Fellow at EIEF and a Senior Fellow at RCEA. He is Associate Editor of “Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics” and Co-Editor of “Research in Economics”. He previously covered the position of: Professor of Economics at Università di Roma La Sapienza (1998-2005) and at Università di Chieti (1994-1998).He has been Associate Professor of Economics at Università di Napoli(1992-1994), Ricercatore at Università di Roma La Sapienza (1990-1992) and a “Jean Monnet Fellow” at the European University Institute (1987-1988). He has been a Visiting Professor at the Columbia University (2007), at the European University Institute (2001), at the University of California Los Angeles (1999), at The Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics (1998) and at the University of Pennsylvania (1989 and 1991). He holds a Laurea in Economia from Università di Roma La Sapienza (1981) and a Ph.D. (with distinction) in Economics from the Columbia University (1987). He held a course of “Global Economic Perspective” at the School of Management of Fudan University.
