Roberto Pardolesi is full Professor of Private Law and Comparative Law, School of Economics, LUISS “Guido Carli”, Rome, since 1989. He is contributor, with the LUISS team, to the Impact Study on Private Enforcement, “Facilitating antitrust damages actions in the EU: welfare impact and potential scenarios”, commissioned by the DGComp in view of the publication of the White Paper. He is member of the International Academy of Comparative Law, the Italian Association of Comparative Law, the Steering Committee of the European Association of Law and Economics, the Italian Society of Sport Law, the European Mergers Task Force, the Scientific Committee of the National Antitrust Authority and the Italian Commission for Bioethical Problems Concerning Procreation. He is also co-editor of “Foro italiano”, “Mercato Concorrenza Regole”, “Danno e responsabilità”; member of the editorial board of “Giurisprudenza commerciale”, “Rivista critica del diritto privato” and other legal journals. He previously covered the position of Full Professor of Comparative Law at the University of PalermoLawSchool and at the  University ofBariLawSchool. He gaduated cum laude in 1971, at University of Bari and holds a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from the University of Chicago Law School (1976). He is author and editor of several books and hundreds of articles and essays.
