Fudan-MIT China Lab Hinos Project Midterm Evaluation

In 2017, we have 3 teams working on the Fudan-MIT China Lab Consulting Projects. Today we first invite the Hinos team to share what they gained from the project.
It has been a pleasant ride so far collaborating with the MIT members on the Hinos project. With two months’ efforts and hard work, we finished our mid-term evaluation presentation in the end of March, 2017. The delivery of the presentation was bilingual and the result was beyond our expectation. It was a great and seamless collaboration among all the members even though we didn’t really have much time to rehearse before the presentation.
Frankly speaking, when we first started this project, we were a bit concerned that it might be quite hard for MIT team mates to understand the challenge and opportunity for the local Chinese brand. Besides, as China market has been witnessing a rapid development, it seems beyond their experience of the local environment. However, after communication with MIT members on this project, we were impressed about their fast learning capabilities as well as their humbleness to seek advice from us.
We always enjoy working with a great team. A great team will always make the most difficult problem solved easily. For our team, it is a great mix of diversity that enables everyone to learn from others’ strengths. Everyone has been dedicating to this project with passion and commitment. Also, we do really appreciate the great opportunity for us to work with the excellent talents from one of the top business schools in the world. MIT team members have demonstrated their wisdoms as well as their professionalism. Every discussion with them was efficient and productive.
Now, with a clearer picture in mind, we will strive our best on this journey in the next two months and I believe we would be able to deliver a fantastic final report in May.
