The card should be placed at the top left corner of his\/her desk for inspection;<\/p> \n    <p class=\"description\">2\tStudents should arrive at the examination venue 15 minutes before the scheduled time of the examination. They are not allowed to enter the examination venue 30 minutes after the examination has started;<\/p> \n    <p class=\"description\">3\tStudents should be seated according to the examination seating plan, which is posted on the writing board in the examination venue;<\/p> \n    <p class=\"description\">4\tStudents should use fountain pen or ballpoint pen and not pencil to write their answers;<\/p> \n    <p class=\"description\">5\tStudents should remain seated and keep silent during the examination. They must not talk or pass materials to each other. If they have questions, they should put up their hand and wait patiently for an invigilator;<\/p> \n    <p class=\"description\">6\tNo reference material of any kind is allowed for a closed book examination;<\/p> \n    <p class=\"description\">7\tFor open-book examinations, students are allowed to bring their own reference materials approved by the instructor. Students are not allowed to share their reference materials with each other during the examination;<\/p> \n    <p class=\"description\">8\tThe use of calculator is allowed only for the type approved by the instructor, if any. All other devices, such as electronic dictionaries and notebook computers, are not allowed to be used during the examination;<\/p>\n    <p class=\"description\">9\tMobile phones should not be used as timers or calculators. Mobile phones must be turned off during the examination or else the student concerned will be considered as cheating;<\/p>\n    <p class=\"description\">10\tStudents are not allowed to return the examination papers less than 30 minutes into the examination. They are not allowed to leave the examination venue during the examination except with permission of the invigilator;<\/p>\n    <p class=\"description\">11\tStudents should submit the examination paper at the end of the scheduled examination time; and<\/p>\n    <p class=\"description\">12\tAny breach of the above examination regulations will be considered as cheating and automatically result in an \u201cF\u201d grade for the student concerned.
