BI Norwegian School of Management among Europe's 35 best business schools

The 4th of November, BI Norwegian School of Management received an award from EDUNIVERSAL as one of Europe's 35 most influential international business schools.

BI is given a top rating, on the same level as schools such as LondonBusinessSchool, INSEAD and HEC School of Management.

One hundred business schools around the world received Eduniversal's (Education Universal) top rating in the assessment "Top Business Schools Worldwide 2008” in Paris on the 4th of November. The common denominator for these schools is that they are characterised as institutions of higher learning with "significant international influence".

"This assessment of BI Norwegian School of Management shows that our international efforts are yielding results. With BI as one of only 35 business schools in Europe achieving the top rating in this international assessment, there is every reason to be pleased. The result shows that BI has a high international profile," says BI president Tom Colbjørnsen.

Eduniversal is responsible for the worldwide assessment, conducted between October 2007 and March 2008. A thousand school presidents and vice-chancellors were asked to recommend institutions of higher learning from different countries. BI was recommended 493 times by the 1000 respondents. This makes BI one of the 100 business schools in the world which achieved the top rating 5.
