Job Qualifications
BS/BA, or Master degree from top tier four-year universities majored in finance, management, or economics. Candidate must be hardworking, outgoing, organized, multi-task oriented, and eager to learn. Also candidates must exhibit strong attention to detail and proven pride in workmanship. Polished financial, communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point are a must. Candidates are expected to be self-starters, effectively contribute in a team environment and willing to undertake secretarial and administrative work when necessary. Prior work experience in consulting, research or finance areas of 1-2 years is also required.
Job Description
Entry-level analyst position. Analyst’s primary responsibilities including but not restrict to the following:
Industry research: Analyst should carry out comprehensive industry research under the guidance of Director/VPs via publicly available information, attending industry conferences, interviewing industry experts, cold calling companies and executives, research through internet and through company proprietary database. The final delivery should be a comprehensive industry research report with specific company information;
Deal due diligence: Analyst is typically involved with the full process of deal due diligence including business, financial and legal related matters. Analyses include five forces study of an industry, customer, supplier and competitor interviews, personal reference checks and working with professional firms supporting the due diligence process;
Financial modeling: analyst is required to build financial models for both public and private companies.
Analysts report directly to MDs and Partners of the firm and have significant exposure to clients and CEOs.
