Position: Accounting Manager
Report To: Finance Controller, Great China
Works Closely with: Peer of Functions, Tax Authority, Bank, Internal/External Audit
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise daily operation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, business license, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities for P.R.C. stores and offices
Troubleshoot accounting system problems/issues, and coordinate resolution with Company’s Information Technology Division
Participant in methods and procedures of accounting data related system changes, to ensure the accuracy and completeness, identify defects related to reporting, interface, mapping etc.
Assistance to customer credit limit & credit term review
In charge of monthly financial reports, year-end closing, annual audit support
Manage direct reports daily workload, coordinate and review their work
Participate in the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, P.R.C ordinance and GAAP
Organize annual inventory physical count and annul fixed assets inspection projects. Monitor Fas/inventory disposal loss approvals from local tax bureau are properly handled.
Liaison with local authorities in terms of taxation and foreign exchange administration in close cooperation; Cooperate with relevant government department for the company's accounting work in close cooperation
Cash flow well managed to support continual growth, raise alert notice in advance for cash shortage and deployed efficient communications plan with Finance controller
Provide support and assistance to the Finance Controller on other assignments
Job Qualifications:
Strong business acumen Education Requirements
Hold bachelor degree. Major in finance, accounting or tax is preferred.
Experience Requirements
7 years of working experience, preferably within a MNC environment and minimal 1 – 2 years of experience in a role of similar job capacity scope
Experience within retail organization is ideal
Experience in internal control and accounting firm is preferred.
Certifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or ACCA is strongly preferred
Core Skills:
Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Hands on experience with PRC rules and regulations
Solid IT skills, especially Excel and ERP system
Excellent co-ordination and communication skills
