The Office Printing Solutions GBU Product Marketing and Strategy department is charged with delivering products that propel HP to a strong leadership position as products and solutions provider for Developed and High Growth Markets.
Responsibilities
· Act as the owner of worldwide products
· Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
· Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
· Define product value proposition
· Translate product strategy and value proposition into detailed customer experience and product specification requirements
· Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
· Align with region partners on pricing and volume assumptions
· Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
· Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
· Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
· Act as a product evangelist and support worldwide marketing communication team to build awareness and ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
· Participate site innovation program and provide business consultation to the project leaders
· Understand new tech trends and new business models to seek new business opportunities
Qualifications
Required
· MS/BS degree in business or engineering
· 5+ years product management, business development experience or equivalent competency if no direct experience
· Customer-centric mindset
· Strategic thinking/planning experience
· Proven problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
· Quantitative and business analysis skills
· Strong communication skills – fluent English, cross function, cross region and executive communication
