Lear:Senior Manager C&B
Position Focus:
Responsible for the overall design, implementation, communication and administration of Lear’s compensation and benefit programs. Ensure these programs support Lear’s strategic objectives, drive a culture of performance and meet all legal and regulatory requirements. Provide subject matter expertise on Plants and RHQ compensation and benefit strategies and programs, and provide support and leadership for all plants and RHQ C&B professionals in China.
Job Description:

Lead the implementation of global core compensation programs such as Annual Incentive Plans and annual Market Movement.

Develop creative reward and recognition programs to drive employee engagement and maintain turnover levels below market median.

Lead the job matching process with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of job matching and competitive compensation at all levels.

Develop appropriate salary structures based on job families to monitor the level and effectiveness of pay to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.

Consult line managers on all issues related to salaries, job classifications, job content and benefit program issues, and proactively addressing concerns.

Support the Lear Recruiting team by developing competitive offers for candidates to attract the best talent but at an appropriate cost. o Implement benefit programs from initial stage of information and data gathering through to program implementation and evaluation.

Oversee headcount and labor cost reporting for Asia Pacific Operations. Partner with the Finance function to drive alignment with all budgets and forecasts.

Partner with external compensation & benefit companies to obtain annual salary information, and ensure appropriate country salary structures are in place throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Ensure compliance with internal and external legal and regulatory requirements.

Lead Job Evaluation processes to ensure appropriate and compliant job classification.
Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field required; Master’s degree preferred

Minimum of 8 to 13 years broad based human resource experience including previous experience in Compensation & Benefit roles. Previous experience with Compensation consulting companies preferred.

Strong knowledge of regional compensation and benefit laws, regulations and requirements.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with high attention to detail.

Excellent English language proficiency.

Proven leadership abilities and strong influencing skills with a track record of establishing credibility with senior leaders.

Strong business acumen with the ability to provide analysis and strategic insight to business issues beyond the HR function. Superior analytical and problem solving skills evidencing the ability to act strategically.

Excellent communication (verbal and written), strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders in matrix organizations.

Experienced working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to manage ambiguity.
