Lear: Sr HR Manager
Position Focus:
Provide overall HR leadership for Lear’s Regional Headquarters and serve as the Asia HR Business Partner for the Functional and Business leaders on the Asia Pacific Leadership Team. Manage shared HR services for the region, including Learning & Development, Global Mobility, Travel and Employee Services. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver superior HR service. Act as a confidante and coach for APO leaders and their teams.
Job Description:

Partner with regional leaders to diagnose organizational issues and develop HR strategies to improve performance and culture.

Champion career development processes and initiatives to increase and sustain high levels of employee engagement and significantly increase bench strength for the future.

Resolve employee relations issues effectively; analyze and address root cause where necessary looking for trends and make recommendations for change in policies and practices as appropriate; conduct thorough investigations as needed.

Maintain positive employee relations whilst reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.

Partner with managers to hire, develop and retain talent while creating a high performance culture that gets results the right way.

Lead change management initiatives including: organizational design, acquisition integration, team development, etc.

Oversee budget and headcount reporting for RHQ overall and the HR function specifically. Partner with the Finance function to drive alignment with all budgets and forecasts.

Develop, analyze and report regular metrics for the HR organization and business partners.

Ensure compliance with internal and external (legal) entities that govern HR processes/practices.

Lead employee engagement initiatives to ensure Asia RHQ is a Best Place to Work.
Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree and above

Minimum of 10 to 15 years broad based human resource experience including previous experience as an HR Business Partner

Strong background/knowledge in multiple HR disciplines, including organizational development, employee engagement, employee relations, leadership development, talent acquisition, legal compliance and compensation.

Proven leadership abilities and strong influencing skills with a track record of establishing credibility with senior leaders.

Strong business acumen with the ability to provide analysis and strategic insight to business issues beyond the HR function. Superior analytical and problem solving skills evidencing the ability to act strategically.

Excellent communication (verbal and written), strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders in matrix organizations.

Experienced working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to manage ambiguity.

High degree of integrity and honesty; demonstrated ability to exercise confidentiality and neutrality in complex and sensitive situations.

Expert knowledge of China employment law and all regulatory and compliance requirements.
