摘要：Business analytics involves the application of sophisticated statistical and analytical methods to extract business value and strategic advantage from the growing availability of large data sets. This presentation will provide an overview of the technology and business trends that are fueling the business analytics revolution, and the enormous career opportunities that are available in this space. It will also describe the exciting new Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) degree program at the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine. It is a one-year full-time program with tracks in data, marketing and operations analytics, and a capstone project with real data from companies in Southern California.
主讲人简介: Sanjeev Dewan is a professor of information systems and faculty director of the MSBA program at the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine. He is an expert in social and mobile analytics and has published extensively on these subjects.
