摘   要：

As political climate has pushed platform companies to restrain themselves from generating monopoly rents based on network effects, this paper develops an alternative strategy theory dedicated to generating entrepreneurial rents. We assume that innovating business model to create more value for more stakeholders would be the new basis of platform competition. To understand it, we cross-fertilize dynamic capabilities theory and stakeholder theory with a shared focus on platform business model. We blend theoretical logic of the two by arguing that dynamic capabilities of sensing, seizing, and transforming can be nurtured by firm-level stakeholder orientation that renders benefits in richer information, broader synergy, and stronger relational bonds, respectively. Then, we apply the blended logic to discuss dynamic integrative capabilities in platform contexts, showing that these capabilities to maximize stakeholder value creation differ from those to maximize network effects. Taken together, entrepreneurial (vs monopoly) rents, stakeholder-oriented (vs platform-centric) business model, and dynamic integrative capabilities provide building blocks for a theory that can guide the next generation platform competition.            

简   介：

2021年毕业于剑桥大学制造研究所（Institute for manufacturing）。攻读博士学位前，在国内高科技行业有近十年工作经验，在多家公司历任咨询顾问、战略经理、战略部总经理、CEO战略助理等职务。其行业专长包括对公司战略职能的端到端理解和对数字化浪潮持续而深入的跟踪和洞察。其学术专长是数字化背景下由商业生态演进和商业模式创新驱动的企业持续成长。他是2020年全球开放式创新大会最佳论文奖得主，也是中国移动研究院战略研究所及其他公司的外聘顾问。学术论文发表在LRP、Technovation、MOR等刊物。
