The 2027 international intake at School of Management, Fudan University will take place from October 2026 to April 2027. International applicants in all disciplines are welcome to apply. Below are 2 programs open to international applicants:

1.MIF: Master of Finance - lnternational Finance (taught in English)

2.MAIB: Master of AI for Business (taught in Chinese)

*GMiM (in collaboration with London Business School) and DDIM program (in collaboration with Bocconi and Luiss). International applicants for the above two programs should apply through the partner institutions' channels.

Application Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

● Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport;

●Bachelor’s degree (We welcome applicants from various academic backgrounds);

● Proof of English proficiency;

● Applicants for MAIB will need to pass the online math and Python test.

Mathematics:

a. Functions, Limits and Continuity, Differential and Integral Calculus of Single-Variable Functions, Differential and Integral Calculus of Multivariable Functions, Infinite Series, Ordinary Differential Equations

b. Linear Algebra (Determinants, Matrices, Vectors, Systems of Linear Equations, Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors of Matrices, Quadratic Forms, Positive Definite Matrix, Orthogonal Matrices);

c.Probability and Mathematical Statistics (Random Events and Their Probability, Random Variables and Their Probability Distributions, Two-Dimensional Random Variables and Their Probability Distributions, Numerical Characteristics of Random Variables, Laws of Large Numbers and the Central Limit Theorem, Basic Concepts of Mathematical Statistics, Parameter Estimation, Hypothesis Testing).

Programming: Basic Python syntax,fundamental data structures (lists, tuples, dictionaries, sets), control-flow design (selection, loops), function definition, basic concepts of function-argument passing, basic concepts of algorithmic complexity and the complexity of common algorithms, common string-manipulation functions,introductory knowledge of regular expressions, basic file operations, basic concepts of object-oriented programming, common functions in NumPy and Pandas.

If an applicant has completed a bachelor’s degree in an English-speaking country, or is a citizen from an English-speaking country, there is no need to provide TOEFL or IELTS.

The applicant can request a waive of the GMAT/GRE score requirement by submitting his/her undergraduate transcript for pre-evaluation.

Otherwise, the applicant must submit at least 1 test score among the following 4 tests, TOEFL, IELTS, GMAT, GRE. Minimum requirements are listed below:

Application Process

Phase 1 Online Application (FDSM System)

There will be 4 rounds of review throughout the application season. Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply in earlier rounds.

1. Log on to FDSM website:

https://app.fdsm.fudan.edu.cn/admission/application/upec/int

2. Complete the online FDSM application form and upload required documents. Please be aware that the School will only review applications that are completed and submitted, with all required documents attached.

3. Note: If you fail to provide all of the required documents, your application will not be accepted. Other documents might be required when necessary. If you want to revise your application form afterwards, please click the “Save” button. Once you submit the application form, you will not be able to revise it.

4. The system will close in April 2027. Pleaseplan accordingly.

Phase 2 Online/Onsite Interview

1. Qualified applicants will be invited for an interview via email. If the applicant is located in Shanghai at the time, an onsite interview might be arranged.

2. Interview results will be released around 1-2 weeks after the interview.

Phase 3 Online Application (Fudan University System)

Qualified applicants who pass the interview must log on to Fudan website:

https://istudent.fudan.edu.cn/apply

and complete the online International Student Application of Fudan University, upload required documents and pay the application fee (RMB 800) online. The system usually opens around mid-December.

Scholarship

The program is delighted to offer scholarship opportunities to the most outstanding applicants who meet the criteria. The scholarship will cover part of the tuition fee at different levels, according to the applicant's educational background and interview results. No additional application is required.

In addition, applicants can apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship (Chinese University Program) and the Shanghai Government Scholarship by themselves. School of Management will decide to accept or partially accept the application result (according to the interview result) and only help to provide the necessary and reasonable documents (e.g. offer letter).
