Global Network Opportunity: Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt
Dear Global Network Colleagues,
It was great to see so many of you earlier this week at our meeting, which Renmin flawlessly hosted. I am excited about the momentum to lengthen and deepen the engagement among our schools. David and / or I will be in touch soon regarding Global Network courses next fall. I wanted to write today to provide further details about the opportunity for your students and faculty to watch my conversation next Wednesday, April 24 with Google’s Executive Chairman, Eric Schmidt. His new book, “The New Digital Age: Reshaping the Future of People, Nations, and Business,” which discusses how technology will change the world, is being released the previous day. So I anticipate a fascinating conversation on technology, globalization, and leadership.
I provided Eric with information about the Global Network and shared my idea to live stream our conversation to the member schools. He is excited about connecting with this great source of top talent from a spanning set of countries. The talk will take place from 11:45 am – 12:45 pm(ET).
