〈Shanghai Star〉：Maximising media talent
FUDAN University last Saturday launched an EMBA (executive master of business administration) course for media management to foster the high-calibre talents engaged in running China's fast-growing media industry. Jointly launched by the university's business school and journalism school, the programme plans to recruit 60 media people in its first batch of students. The applicants are expected to be top executives or officials at large media organizations or government media administration departments, with at least 10 years' working experience and six years' management experience. The programme charges a hefty fee of 258,000 yuan (US$31,200) - the highest of its kind in China - for tuition.
