讲座题目：Perspectives on Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability from Finland　

主讲嘉宾:　　 Dr. Arno Kourula

　D.Sc. (Econ) Arno Kourula is a project manager at Aalto University School of Economics in Helsinki, Finland, and his focus areas are Base of the Pyramid business models, corporate responsibility, stakeholder management and company - nongovernmental organization relations.

The project he is involved with deals with the Base of the Pyramid (BOP) and is funded by the Finnish Innovation Agency Tekes and the Finnish Forest Cluster (a consortium of Finnish forest products companies). In this project, a cross-disciplinary and cross-national team of eight researchers are examining ethnographically packaging, mass communication and primary education practices among poor markets in India, Russia, Tanzania and Brazil.

In the fall of 2008, he was a visiting scholar at Stanford University in the U.S. and in 2009 completed his doctoral thesis on companies' stakeholder relations from the corporate responsibility perspective. Previously, he has worked as a technical expert in two development cooperation evaluations for the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, as a corporate fundraiser for Save the Children Finland and consulted several companies and NGOs on corporate responsibility and fundraising related issues. Kourula also has field experience of development cooperation and humanitarian assistance in different United Nations agencies at headquarters level in New York and in different West African countries.
