题目：To Cooperate or Not to Cooperate? Individual Decision Making in Team Contexts

Individuals working in teams are often facing a conflict between maximizing their self-interest and maximizing the team interest—a classic social dilemma situation. In this presentation, I will describe a series of lab experiments I conducted in the past 15 years and report findings regarding the effective ways to induce cooperation in teamwork.
Professor Chen received her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois. Her research interests include work team dynamics, reciprocity behavior, passion in the entrepreneurial context, and Chinese guanxi. Prof. Chen’s articles have appeared in the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of International Business Studies, and Management Science etc. She is Editor-in-Chief of Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Executive Editor of Management and Organizational Review Executive. She served as the president of International Association for Chinese Management and Research (IACMR) from 2008-2010.
