Ren Mingchuan is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the School of Management, Fudan University. He serves as a member of the Professional Ethics Standards Committee of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) and holds a Doctorate in Accounting from the United Kingdom.He was a visiting scholar at the MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard Business School (HBS). He is also a guest faculty member of the National Accounting Institute of Xiamen.
His main research areas include international accounting, professional ethics and corporate financial reporting. He is the author of Professional Ethics in American Accounting.His research papers have been published in academic journals and professional publications such as Financial Executive, Asian Review of Accounting, China Accounting & Finance Review, Accounting Research, Finance & Accounting and The Chinese Certified Public Accountant.Currently, he acts as an independent director for several companies, including Shanghai Jiemian Cls Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Guobang Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd.
