The ranking also reports Salary today of US$718,662 and a Salary increase of 134% for this programme — the highest on both measures among the 100 programmes ranked. Both figures are statistics reported in the FT 2025 ranking. They describe the surveyed cohort as a whole and are not a promise of individual outcomes. The ranking is compiled and published independently by the Financial Times each year; the position refers to the year of publication and does not change over time.

The programme is a partnership between Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis and the School of Management at Fudan University; it is delivered in English and closely matches the curriculum and structure of Olin's own EMBA, with a US professor as instructor and a Fudan professor as co-teacher on every course. The programme was launched in 2002 with the approval of China's Ministry of Education and the Office of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, and was the first Sino-foreign joint EMBA programme approved by the Ministry of Education. It is listed on the Ministry's public register of Sino-foreign joint programmes under approval number MOE31US1A20020502O, valid until 31 December 2031. It is run jointly by the School of Management, Fudan University and Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis. It comprises 18 months of coursework within a two-year registration. Graduates receive a master's degree from Washington University in St. Louis, together with a certificate from Fudan University.
