Tuition is set separately for each intake. Tuition for the intake starting in May 2027 (Class 25) is to be confirmed. The figure will be published on this page once it is approved; until then, please ask the programme office (+86 21 5598 7788, EMBA-Shanghai@olin.wustl.edu, weekdays 9:00-17:30) for the current position. What the fee covers, what it does not cover and how it is paid are set out below and do not depend on the amount.
Tuition covers textbooks, study materials, and accommodation and meals for all residency modules, including the closing residency in the United States. The three residencies themselves — the opening module in China each May, the mid-programme residency overseas and the closing residency in the United States — carry no additional programme fee.
Tuition does not cover international travel to and from the destinations of the mid-programme and closing residencies, nor the visa fees for those trips. Both are at your own cost.
Tuition is paid in four instalments: the first is a non-refundable deposit due before the programme starts, and the remaining three fall due during the programme. The amount of each instalment is to be confirmed and will be published together with the total; ask the programme office (+86 21 5598 7788, EMBA-Shanghai@olin.wustl.edu, weekdays 9:00-17:30) if you need the payment schedule. The programme accepts payment made by your employer.
An alumni referral carries a tuition reduction of RMB 30,000; please confirm the conditions with the programme office. The programme also works with several banks each year that offer admitted students loans at low interest rates and low handling fees; the programme office will explain how to arrange one.
There is an application fee of RMB 1,200. It is non-refundable.
