Dr. Zhejun Yu, born in January 1979, graduated from Leipzig University in Germany in 2010 with a Ph.D. in Philosophy. His primary research areas include the sociology of religion, social philosophy, and the philosophy of social sciences. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor, Ph.D. advisor, and Deputy Director of the Department of Religious Studies at Fudan University. He also holds positions as a board member and Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Religious Studies Association, as well as a board member of the Chinese Association for Religious Studies. His representative works include "Deities and Citizens: A Study of Temple Festivals in Shanghai during the Republican Era" and "When Plato Meets Lumière: Philosophical Speculations in Cinema."
