论坛摘要 Abstract:
The claims during the British Referendum debate on remaining or leaving the EU were larded with factual misrepresentations. British citizens now face the prospect of leaving the largest developed and progressive single market in the world. There will be no special deals from the other 27 EU member states. Britain will not be able to cherry-pick benefits – a clear red line from the EU negotiating side. Britain has to accept the four pillars on which the single market mutual is based – or leave Free movement of EU citizens between members states is non negotiable. There is nothing in between - a reality which Britain will have to face. Britain’s Brexit negotiating position is mired in self delusion and nostalga for a past long since gone. The position of the Conservative government is flawed by its failure to set out a clear strategy on which it can credibly negotiate Failure to reach a negotiated settlement will result in massive economic damage
