Prof. Andrew Burton-Jones will introduce the cutting-edge research fields that MISQ is currently focusing on and the main measures taken in recent years, hoping to help scholar better understand the mainstream and future directions of information systems research
简 介：
Andrew got his Ph.D from Georgia State University in Atlanta, USA. He became a tenured Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, and returned to the University of Queensland, Australia, in 2012.He undertakes research in the areas of IT use in organisations, the methods to analyse and design IT systems, and improving theories and methods used by researchers in the Information Systems discipline.He has served on the editorial boards of many journals, including the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Information Systems Research, MIS Quarterly, Information and Organization, and Academy of Management Discoveries. He is a Fellow of the Association for Information Systems, Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences of Australia, and Editor-in-Chief of MIS Quarterly (2021-2023).
