Eligibility Criteria
We welcome outstanding applicants who meet the following requirements to join the Program:
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for academic research and a keen interest in exploring how information technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence) transform individuals, businesses and society;
- Possess the courage to embrace challenges, strong psychological resilience and stress tolerance, and the aspiration to become leading research-oriented professionals;
- Demonstrate proficient skills in reading Chinese and English academic literature, basic academic writing capabilities, and effective communication skills.
How to apply
This program is open exclusively to Mainland Chinese students.
Application Requirements
Applicants for the Master Programs must be third-year undergraduate students with an excellent academic record in their first three years of study. They must also secure a recommendation for exemption from the national postgraduate entrance examination from their home institutions for the 2026 intake.
Application Material Checklist
- Application Form (automatically generated via the online application system; no separate upload required);
- Scanned copies of ID photo, academic transcripts, and other supporting documents;
- Two letters of recommendation from associate professors or above. Please enter referees’ email addresses in the system which will automatically send recommendation letter (available in Chinese and English) submission links to their inboxes;
- Submit a research proposal (suggested word count: ~1,000 words), including:
a) Undergraduate research and academic experience (if any);
b) Motivations for applying to the Program;
c) Proposed research direction and specific research plan during the master’s and PhD study period;
d) Post-graduation career plan. - An AI assessment component will be incorporated prior to enrollment. The score of such assessment will be included in both the pre-enrollment score and the final admission evaluation score.
