The most unique building material in the Zhengli Campus is undoubtedly the terracotta tubes used on all the exteriors. These brick-red terracotta tubes are made from clay through repeated trials and multiple firings, making them both lightweight and environmentally friendly. Moreover, the brick-red color of the tubes echoes the "Fudan hue," which embodies a century of cultural heritage. Over 70% of the exterior walls are covered with these brick-red terracotta tubes, making the Zhengli Campus the building with the largest area of  terracotta tube usage in China. The arrangement of terracotta tubes of various lengths also incorporates designs of various plants, presenting a dignified, humble, yet lively appearance. Terracotta tubes have long been a symbol of educational development and talent cultivation. The innovative architectural application of the Zhengli Campus combines traditional materials with modern style, infusing the essence of humanities and historical legacy into business education, subtly showcasing its uniqueness and grandeur.
