With the notification of both Hong Kong University and Fudan University, I realized that I was about to finish my IMBA joint program from HKU and FDU. I think it is a great achievement and milestone that worth honoring. For most of my fellow graduates, this has been a sacrifice of our personal time and has been challenge to balance ourselves between study, job and family. All of us have experienced the stress, mental and physical challenges associated with some academic achievements.

Different people have different reasons to take a MBA program and different people have different criteria to pick the MBA program. As the best university in Asia, Hong Kong University and Fudan University offered not only the best program in terms of the faculty, environment and teaching material to help the young people to enhance their understanding about the business but also create an opportunity for us to further develop our professional career and support us to pursue our dreams.

On the first day of orientation, instead of introducing the fantastic program, Mr. Sun challenged us “Don’t ask what you can gain from the program but think about what you can contribute for this program!” I was impressed and thought “Yes, we are not only the students but also one of the most important parties in the program”. We were fully engaged in the program in these 2 years. We argued, we debated, we laughed and we cried. We are excited about the team winning and we learnt from our failure. Now we are fully equipped with the business knowledge and deeply understanding of how to run the business. I am very confident to face the challenges in the dynamic business environment in the future.

Time goes by, we are at the corner of our graduation. It is because of HKU-FDU IMBA program that our dimensions have been expanded. I believe the changes and experience I have gone through is the core of our MBA program- “Be Together, Be Better”. I sincerely wish that all of my fellow graduates will be all the best in the future.
