The 2022 international intake of the Master of Finance program, School of Management, Fudan University will take place from November, 2021 to May, 2022. Overseas applicants in any discipline are welcomed to apply.

Application Process

Phase 1        Online Application

● Log on to FDSM website:

apply.fdsm.fudan.edu.cn/application/admissions/program/MF

Complete online FDSM application form and upload required documents. If you fail to provide the required documents, your application will not be accepted. Other documents might be required when necessary.

If you want to revise your application form, please click the “Save” button. After you submit the application form, you will not be able to revise it. The school will only review applicants who complete and submit their application forms.

The system will expire in May, 2022.

● Log on to Fudan website: admission.iso.fudan.edu.cn, and complete the online International Student Application of Fudan University. The system will be open around December, 2021 and end around May, 2022.

● Note: Applicants must apply through the FDSM website and we mainly review your application on the FDSM system.

Phase 2        Online Interview

● Qualified applicants will be informed of an online interview in advance via email.

● The result of the interview will be released around 1 week after the interview.

● If admitted, an official admission letter will be sent around June, 2022. Accepted students will be enrolled in September 2022.

● Note: Although the online application ends in May every year, FDSM adopts rolling admission to international applicants.

Application Requirements

Applicants should be (have):

● Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport;

● Bachelor’s degree (We appreciate applicants from various academic  backgrounds);

● Solid mathematics background;

● Proof of English proficiency.

Minimum requirement for applicants from non-English speaking country：

If an applicant has completed a Bachelor’s degree in an English-speaking country, there is no need to provide TOEFL or IELTS, and the applicant can request to waive GMAT/GRE score by submitting his/her undergraduate transcript for pre-evaluation.

● Diploma of the highest degree conferred or proof of impending graduation (for applicants in their final year)

● Official university transcript

● Two reference letters

● A short video of your self-introduction in English, within 60 seconds

● Personal statement

● Valid language certificate and score report

● Proof of No Criminal Record in Chinese or English

● Proof of Financial Capacity or the Statement of Financial Support for International Students of Fudan University (The Statement form can be downloaded at https://iso.fudan.edu.cn/isoenglish/wnlinewwpplication/list.htm)

● Applicants who apply for the scholarships have to upload Foreigner Physical Examination Form. (The report is valid for six months. Download at https://iso.fudan.edu.cn/isoenglish/wnlinewwpplication/list.htm) (Applicants currently residing in China may submit Residence Permit or Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card in substitute for Foreigner Physical Examination Form.)

Scholarship

The program is delighted to offer scholarship opportunity to the most outstanding applicants who meet the criteria. The scholarship will cover full or partial of the tuition fee. All admitted applicants will be automatically reviewed by the scholarship committee.

In addition, applicants can apply for Chinese Government Scholarship (Chinese University Program) and Shanghai Government Scholarship by themselves. These two scholarships can be applied at the same time.

The Master of Finance Program was launched in 2010 in collaboration with Anderson School of Management at the University of California – Los Angeles and  top faculty at Princeton University, offering two specializations in Financial Engineering and International Finance.
