Since re-establishment in 1985, School of Management has been widely practicing the strategy of internationalization. Each year, more than 100 foreign experts and scholars are invited for academic exchanges and short-term teaching at the School, and nearly 90 world-famous management scholars and entrepreneurs have been entitled honorary professors or adjunct professors by the School. The School accepts approximately 200 international students and sends more than 200 students overseas for exchange purposes on a yearly basis, and has established close partnership with 110 internationally renowned business schools in an internationalization strategy which covers a wide range of areas including student exchange, faculty exchange, joint research, curriculum development, corporate links, etc.
The School has various kinds of international exchange programs, mainly referring to collaborative degree programs, joint research, faculty visits, student exchanges, short-term study tours, faculty training and executive education, etc. Those programs have helped to greatly improve the branding and influence the School enjoys in the global scale, extend the global perspectives of the students and faculty, and offer great benefits for each of the participating students, faculty and senior managers.
In addition, the School has actively joined international organizations which aim to enhance exchanges and cooperative research among the world's top business schools to explore more globalized resources. The School became a member of PIM (Partnership in International Management) in 2007 and the 173rd member globally of GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council) in 2009. In 2011, the School co-founded CoBS (Council on Business and Society), and in 2012, the School joined GNAM (Global Network for Advanced Management) as a founding member. In 2009, the School successfully obtained the EQUIS (European Quality Development System) accreditation. In 2012, 2017 and 2023, the School was continuously awarded the 5-year EQUIS re-accreditations. In 2010, the School was awarded the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation, and was re-accredited by AACSB in 2015 and 2020 respectively, both with the 5-year accreditation period.
