On May 28, 2025, Dean Detlev Zwick of Schulich School of Business, York University, visited School of Management at Fudan University (Fudan SoM) and was warmly welcomed by Dean Xiongwen Lu.

Schulich School of Business is one of Canada's top business schools, known for innovative curriculum, international perspective and excellent research. Fudan SoM and Schulich School of Business have maintained a long-standing friendly partnership, offering rich opportunities for faculty and student exchanges and diverse experiences for international perspective expansion.

This is Dean Zwick’s first visit to Fudan SoM since he officially became Dean of Schulich School of Business in 2021. Dean Lu shared updates on the School’s development, especially the construction of Zhengli Campus and the advancement of the sci-tech innovation strategy. Dean Zwick listened with great interest. The two sides also exchanged views on the new situations and challenges in global business education and explored ways to deepen existing cooperation and expand collaboration in faculty and research. Professor Tianjun Feng, Assistant Dean of Fudan SoM, attended the meeting.

Before the meeting, Dean Zwick toured Zhengli Campus of Fudan SoM, gaining an in-depth understanding of the planning concept and functional layout of this open educational commercial complex. He highly praised the innovative practice of the “Three-Zone Synergy” among the university campus, science and technology park, and public community.
