OVERVIEW

The BI-Fudan MBA program is one of the first Sino-foreign joint programs approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and has been working in partnership by BI Norwegian Business School and School of Management, Fudan University since 1996. Adhering to the core principle of“Education works for the Society”, the program is committed to nurturing mid-to-senior level managers equipped with a strategic global perspective, a broad vision for sustainable development in the context of the digital economy, and the ability to confront future business challenges with innovative entrepreneurial spirit.

School of Management, Fudan University

Deeply rooted in the soil of China and aiming for world-class standards, the School of Management at Fudan University has established a comprehensive system of business administration education. The faculty is robust, the research capabilities are strong, the international exchanges are extensive, and outstanding talents emerge continuously. The school currently has 166 faculty members, with 98.8% holding doctoral degrees. There are approximately 7,000 students enrolled and over 60,000 alumni. The school is organized into 8 departments, with 5 first-level doctoral programs, 12 second-level doctoral programs (including self-established ones), 5 first-level master's programs, 18 second-level master's programs (including self-established ones), and 5 professional master's programs in Business Administration (MBA)/Executive MBA, Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc), Master of International Business, Master of Finance, and Master of Applied Statistics. It also offers 7 undergraduate majors and 4 postdoctoral research stations. In the "UTD Top 100 Global Business School Research Rankings (2019-2023)" for 2024, the school is ranked 70th globally, maintaining its position as the top in mainland China for the ninth consecutive year and solidly within the global top 100.

BI Norwegian Business School

BI Norwegian Business School is an internationally recognized private university located in Oslo, the capital of Norway, and was established in 1943. Its acronym BI is derived from the institution's original name, Bedriftsøkonomisk Institutt. Over the course of 81 years of development, BI Norwegian Business School has grown into one of the largest business schools in Europe. In 1999, BI Norwegian Business School became the first Norwegian university to receive the EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accreditation awarded by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development). In 2013, BI Norwegian Business School's EMBA and the Fudan-BI (Norway) MBA program were accredited by AMBA (Association of MBAs). In 2014, the Board of Directors of AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) granted BI the AACSB accreditation. As a result, BI has achieved the prestigious triple crown status, a distinction held by only the top 1% of business schools globally.
