BI Norwegian School of Management – Fudan University MBA Class 9 to kick off
A number of 63 students started their education in the School of Management at Fudan University for BI-Fudan MBA Program as Class 9, by attending an opening ceremony which was held at School’s AIA Hall on November 28.
The majority of the class for the internationally joint two-year program, aged 33.4 on average, are those middle- or high-ranking professional managers who are working for multinationals, like Alcatel Shanghai Bell Co. Ltd., Kohler (China) Investment Co. Ltd., and GE.
The class is also featured with diversified sources of students, who, besides Chinese mainland, are from Germany, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, as well as the regions of Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Before the official ceremony, Professor Randi Lunnan, associate dean of Executive School at BI, and Professor XU Huizhong, program director from Fudan side, provided pre-class guidance to the enrolled students about the background and curricula schedules for the joint program.
Ms. Anna Saeboe, consul of the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in Shanghai, delivered a welcome speech to start the ceremony. Professor SUN Yimin, associate dean of School of Management at Fudan University, Professor GU Yunshen, executive associate dean of Graduate School at Fudan University, joined by Professor Bjørn Hennestad, dean of Executive School at BI, greeted the students with warm-hearted wishes.
Also, Ms. DU Yiyi, a student representative of the preceding Class 8, shared on her experience in program study and her individual work during the ceremony.
