MIF is jointly initiated by Fudan SoM and the Anderson School of UCLA in 2010. Combining theory with practice, faculty members from both elite schools convey professional knowledge on corporate finance, investment principles, capital market and financial instruments to foster outstanding talents, who are able to carry out corporate financing decision-making, risk management, financial analysis and quantitative research, etc. The length of study is two years, with all courses taught in English. Students who have completed the required credits and passed the thesis defense will be granted with a Master's degree with specialization in International Finance by Fudan University and a learning certificate by the Anderson School UCLA.

QFFE is jointly initiated by Fudan SoM and top faculty at Princeton University. It is designed to integrate technology and the latest conceptual developments in finance, statistics, mathematics and computer to form a comprehensive system, and help to develop well-rounded students to become global leaders. Students are offered cross-disciplinary academic environment, having both breadth and depth in related fields including risk management, structural financial products, sales and quantitative transaction, quantitative research and financial information technology. The purpose of QFFE is to meet the growing demands for risk management and quantitative finance, and to develop financial talents who make a powerful impact on business and society. The length of study is two years, and the language of instruction is half in English and half in Chinese. Students who complete the required credits and pass the thesis defense will be granted a Master's degree with specialization in Quantitative Finance and Financial Engineering by Fudan University and a learning certificate issued by top faculty at Princeton University.

The 2027 international intake at School of Management, Fudan University will take place from October 2026 to April 2027. International applicants in all disciplines are welcome to apply. Below are 2 programs open for international applicants:

1. MIF: Master of Finance - International Finance (taught in English)
2. AIB: Master of AI for Business (taught in Chinese)

*GMiM (cooperated with London Business School) and DDIM program (cooperated with Bocconi and Luiss). International applicants for the above two programs should apply through the partner institutions' channels.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport; (If you have dual citizenship or have a citizenship of Hong Kong, Taiwan or Macao, please inform us in advance)
• Bachelor's degree (We welcome applicants from various academic backgrounds);
• Proof of English proficiency.

Applicants for AIB will need to pass the online math and Python test.

• Mathematics: (Functions, Limits and Continuity, Differential and Integral Calculus of Single-Variable Functions, Differential and Integral Calculus of Multivariable Functions, Infinite Series, Ordinary Differential Equations)
• b. Linear Algebra (Determinants, Matrices, Vectors, Systems of Linear Equations, Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors of Matrices, Quadratic Forms, Positive Definite Matrix, Orthogonal Matrices)
• c. Probability and Mathematical Statistics (Random Events and Their Probability, Random Variables and Their Probability Distributions, Two-Dimensional Random Variables and Their Probability Distributions, Numerical Characteristics of Random Variables, Laws of Large Numbers and the Central Limit Theorem, Basic Concepts of Mathematical Statistics, Parameter Estimation, Hypothesis Testing)
• Programming: Basic Python syntax, fundamental data structures (lists, tuples, dictionaries, sets), control-flow design (selection, loops), function definition, basic concepts of function-argument passing, basic concepts of algorithm complexity and the complexity of common algorithms, common string-manipulation functions, introductory knowledge of regular expressions, basic file operations, basic concepts of object-oriented programming, common functions in NumPy and Pandas.

If an applicant has completed a Bachelor's degree in an English-speaking country, or is a citizen from an English-speaking country, there is no need to provide TOEFL or IELTS. The applicant can request to waive GMAT/GRE score by submitting his/her undergraduate transcript for pre-evaluation.
Otherwise, the applicant must submit at least 1 test score among the following 4 tests, TOEFL, IELTS, GMAT, GRE. Minimum requirements are listed below:

Phase 1 Online Application (Fudan SoM System)

There will be 4 rounds of review throughout the application season. We strongly encourage applicants to apply the earlier rounds.

• Complete online Fudan SoM application form and upload required documents.

Please be aware that the School will only review applications that's completed and submitted, with all required documents attached.

1) Applications missing any required documents will not be accepted. Additional documents may be requested at the School's discretion. To revise your application form prior to submission, please use the "Save" function. Once the application form is submitted, no further revisions will be permitted.

Phase 2 Online/Onsite Interview

1) Qualified applicants will be invited for an interview via email. For applicants residing in Shanghai at the time of the interview, an onsite interview may be arranged.
2) Interview results will be released approximately 1-2 weeks following the interview.

Phase 3 Online Application (Fudan University System)

Qualified applicants who pass the interview must log on to Fudan University portal via https://istudent.fudan.edu.cn/apply, and complete the online International Student Application of Fudan University, upload required documents and pay the application fee (RMB 800) online. The online system usually opens around mid-December each year.

• Photocopy of valid passport identification page;
• Diploma of the highest degree conferred, or proof of impending graduation (for final-year applicants);
• Official university academic transcript;
• Two letters of recommendation;
• Self-introduction video (maximum 60 seconds) in English
• Personal statement
• Valid language proficiency certificate and corresponding score report
