Speaker: Prof. Re-jin GUO, Associate Professor of Finance, University of Illinois at Chicago

Profile of the speaker: Prof. GUO is an associate professor of finance at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her research interests are in the areas of corporate governance, mechanism of primary equity market, corporate disclosure policy, and behavior of analysts in the capital markets. She has published in leading finance, accounting, and statistics journals, including the Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Finance, Journal of Accounting Research, and Journal of American Statistical Association, among others, Prof.  GUO has a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Minnesota, and teaches courses on corporate finance, venture capital, and valuation. She has been an invited speaker at numerous national and international finance conferences and at leading universities.
