Dean Xiongwen LU presided over the “Norway Day” launch ceremony. After the launch ceremony, Solberg visited the School of Management, Fudan University and the venue of the “Norway Day” accompanied by President Ningsheng XU and Associate Vice President Yaming ZHOU.

The morning session of the First International Culture Festival “Norway Day” carnival activity consisted of a series of theme lectures. In the morning’s activity, Director General of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise Kristin Skogen Lund and President of BI Norwegian Business School Inge Jan Henjestad discussed Norwegian innovation. Director of Tourism, Innovation Norway Bente Bratland Holm and Regional Marine Director, North East Asia, Jotun Morten Sten Johansen gave speeches titled “Norway: powered by nature” and “JOTUN - A Norwegian Success in China” respectively.
All the guests thought that the economic relationship between Norway and China had undergone great development and that the Norwegian side hoped to further strengthen cooperation with China. Meanwhile, Norway would also keep strengthening infrastructure construction and provide more opportunities for Chinese investors and enterprises.

The afternoon session of the carnival activity mainly consisted of tasting of delicacies, live performances, interactive games, alumni salons and a special session for enterprises. In the School, teachers, students and alumni could not only participate in activities such as the “2-on-2 basketball contest”, “table football contest” and Norwegian traditional game “potato transporter”, but also had opportunities to taste delicacies with Nordic characteristics such as salmon, waffles, chocolate, sausages and cheese biscuits. Norwegian musicians brought live violin and singing performances, and the venue in the School was decorated with post booths and ornamental paintings with a strong Norwegian atmosphere, which added a Norwegian touch to that day’s activity.

Meanwhile, the BI Norwegian Business School – Fudan University MBA Program Student Association Join & Share also held three theme salons in AIA Hall of Starr Building.
In the special session for enterprises, five Norwegian participating enterprises introduced their corporate cultures, courses of development and achievements in 15 minutes respectively, and interacted with students on the spot. The lucky draw in the interval enlivened the atmosphere at the venue, and gifts with Norwegian characteristics also gave the participants in this “Norway Day” carnival a precious memory.
