Scholarship and Financial Aid Award Ceremony for the 2025-2026 Academic Year Held at the Guoshun Campus of School of Management at Fudan University
Amid the beauty of spring and flourishing vitality, the Scholarship and Financial Aid Award Ceremony for the 2025-2026 academic year of School of Management at Fudan University (Fudan SoM) was held at the Guoshun Campus on April 24. More than a moment of recognition for outstanding students, the event also served as a vivid lesson in passing on love and responsibility and in embodying the spirit of leadership and change.

In her remarks, Yimin Sun, Associate Dean of School of Management at Fudan University, expressed her most sincere gratitude to the donors, distinguished members of society, and alumni who have long supported the School's development and generously contributed to education. "Your generosity is not only a recognition of and encouragement for the School, but also a continuation of love and the spirit of the School of Management," she said. She encouraged students to keep this gratitude in their hearts and to transform it in the future into outstanding achievements across different fields, thereby repaying their alma mater's cultivation, alumni care, and support from all sectors of society. "No matter how times may change, the connection between people and the love among them remains unchanged. I hope all of you will always stay true to your beliefs, learn to understand love, express love, and pass love on, so that together we may add our own warmth and strength to a better future."

Zheng Huang, Associate Dean of School of Management at Fudan University, introduced the overall evaluation results of the named scholarships and financial aid awards for the 2025-2026 academic year. A total of 13 named scholarship and financial aid programs were presented this year, with 205 student awards granted in total, including 127 to undergraduate students and 78 to graduate students.

Qian Liang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Industrial Securities Charity Foundation of Fujian Province, delivered a message to the students on behalf of the donors. Since 2018, the Foundation and School of Management at Fudan University have jointly launched the Xing Youth Social Responsibility Development Program. The newly launched 2026 edition of the program will align with the priorities of China's 15th Five-Year Plan, encouraging students to carry out long-term and in-depth social practice and volunteer service in frontline areas such as rural revitalization, new quality productive forces, education equity, and care for key social groups. "I hope you will cherish your youth, stay grounded, temper your abilities and cultivate your compassion through social practice, and write your theses on the great land of our motherland."

Yebo Sheng, a 2023 undergraduate student and recipient of the Future Dream Scholarship and the Xing Youth Scholarship, spoke on behalf of the student awardees. He shared his experiences of joining the School basketball team, performing in a play about the School's history, and teaching in Yunnan. He also expressed his hope of continuing his studies in the Fudan MSc DS & BA Program. "I hope to remain committed to my beliefs and use the power of innovation to create tangible and enduring value for society, allowing conviction to shine brilliantly across the spectrum of youth."

Tan Cheng, a 2023 doctoral student in the Department of Information Management and Business Intelligence and recipient of the Huacheng Xue Scholarship, also spoke on behalf of the student awardees. Thanks to the School's scholarship and financial aid support, he explained, he has had greater room for independent exploration in his research topics and has begun to experiment with using technological approaches to address management questions. He quoted Professor Huacheng Xue as an encouragement to himself: "Misjudgments and mistakes are common; do not abandon yourself because of setbacks. Staying grounded and pressing forward is the only path; beyond it lies the road to light." He added, "In my future study and research, I hope to remain grounded and continue striving forward, responding to the support of the School and the donors with more solid achievements."

Yuan Wang, a 2024 student in the Fudan MBA Program and recipient of the Yongkang Scholarship, shared his experience as a student representative. He introduced the practical process of project management, execution, and culture building in the "Yongkang Scholarship Leadership Practice Project," and summarized the cognitive transformation and gains he achieved by integrating technology and business, moving from a technical expert toward a business decision-maker. "In the future, I will continue to root myself in the Fudan MBA Sci-Tech Youth Camp Program and use collaborative and entrepreneurial leadership to create stability and possibility in an age of uncertainty."

Hua Liu, Founding Partner of Shanghai Dapu Asset Management Co., Ltd., and Associate Dean Yimin Sun jointly presented awards to the recipients of the "Dapu Scholarship of School of Management at Fudan University." Established in 2018 by Shanghai Dapu Asset Management Co., Ltd., the scholarship recognizes undergraduate students with outstanding academic and personal performance.


Dixin Li, alumna and Fund Manager at Shanghai Xitai Investment Management Co., Ltd., and Associate Dean Yimin Sun jointly presented awards to the recipients of the "Yadong He Scholarship for Excellence in Culture and Sports of School of Management at Fudan University." Established in 2025 by Yadong He, Research Director of Shanghai Xitai Investment Management Co., Ltd., the scholarship aims to encourage university students to actively participate in cultural and sports activities and competitions, enhance vitality, and strengthen physical well-being.

Yunting Li, Investment Manager of Shanghai Wideview Asset Management Co., Ltd, and Associate Dean Yimin Sun jointly presented awards to the recipients of the "Kuanyuan Boxueying Program of School of Management at Fudan University." Established in 2023 by Shanghai Kuanyuan Asset Management Co., Ltd., the scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding leadership potential, organizational ability, sense of responsibility, and active participation in student organizations.

Weiwei Zhou, Marketing Director of Shanghai Ningquan Asset Management Co., Ltd., presented awards to the recipients of the "Xing·Quan Belt and Road International Student Scholarship of School of Management at Fudan University." Established in 2020 by Shanghai Ningquan Asset Management Co., Ltd., the scholarship aims to encourage and attract outstanding international students from countries along the Belt and Road to study at the School of Management, while also helping other students deepen their understanding of the Belt and Road Initiative and promoting cross-cultural exchange and international development.

Xiezhong Chen, alumnus and Chairman of Hangzhou Yamei Sports Development Co., Ltd., and Associate Dean Yimin Sun jointly presented awards to the recipients of the "Yamei Beyond Scholarship of School of Management at Fudan University." Established in 2024 by alumnus Xiezhong Chen, the scholarship aims to highlight the scientific spirit of aspiration and innovation among doctoral students of the School, recognize students with outstanding research performance, inspire young scholars to devote themselves to research, and support them in striving for excellence and moving forward with determination.

Yongkang Fu, alumnus and Chairman of Shanghai Qinghui Management Consulting Co., Ltd., and Associate Dean Yimin Sun jointly presented awards to the recipients of the "Yongkang Scholarship of School of Management at Fudan University." Established in 2019 by alumnus Yongkang Fu, the scholarship encourages MBA students to learn frontier theories and apply advanced methods in project management and leadership development. Since 2024, the scholarship has focused on the MBA "Collaborative and Entrepreneurial" Leadership Development Program and recognizes students with outstanding performance.

Yin Chen, alumnus, Executive Vice Chairman of the Aifei Liqi Cultural Exchange Center, and Senior Partner of Guolong Private Fund Management (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., together with Baoding Zhuang, Partner of Wisdomshire Asset Management Co., Ltd., presented awards to the recipients of the "Zukang Zheng Fund Scholarship of School of Management at Fudan University." Established in 2013 by undergraduate alumni from the Statistics and Operations Research program who entered in 1988 and 1989, the scholarship commemorates the respected statistician Professor Zukang Zheng and rewards diligent and dedicated students.

Qian Liang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Industrial Securities of Fujian Province, presented awards to the recipients of the "Xing Youth Scholarship of School of Management at Fudan University." Established in 2018 by the Industrial Securities Charity Foundation of Fujian Province, the scholarship recognizes students who actively participate in social practice, deepen their understanding of Chinese society, and demonstrate independent thinking, leadership, and social responsibility.

Professor Huacheng Xue and Associate Dean Yimin Sun jointly presented awards to the recipients of the "Huacheng Xue Scholarship of School of Management at Fudan University." Established in 2021 by Professors Huacheng Xue and Manlin Yang and by Professor Xue's former students, the scholarship aims to promote research, development, and innovation in information management theory and practice, and to recognize undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students with outstanding achievements in information management.

Ge Zhang, Director of Shanghai Shichu Education Technology Center, and Shiming Xiao, alumnus and Founder of Shanghai Danrui Investment Management Co., Ltd., presented awards to the recipients of the "Wenxian Zhang Scholarship of School of Management at Fudan University." Established in 2017 by the family members and students of Professor Wenxian Zhang, the founding Head of the Department of Accounting and doctoral supervisor at the School of Management, the scholarship is intended to recognize research achievements made by students in the Department of Accounting.

Wei Li, alumnus and Vice President and Deputy Secretary-General of the Fudan University Real Estate Finance Alumni Association, presented awards to the recipients of the "Future Dream Scholarship of School of Management at Fudan University." Established in 2019 by the Fudan University Real Estate Finance Alumni Association, the scholarship recognizes undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students who excel in both character and academic performance, demonstrate outstanding participation in social practice and volunteer service, and embody responsibility and dedication.

Cheng Xu, alumnus and Partner of Wuxi Huili Investment Management Center (Limited Partnership), presented awards to the recipients of the "Extraordinary Thinking Scholarship of School of Management at Fudan University." Established in 2016 by Donghai Huang, alumnus Cheng Xu, and Tingting Hu, the scholarship recognizes outstanding students who also possess habits of independent thinking, and aims to cultivate bold, unconventional, and independent thinking among students.
Associate Dean Yimin Sun presented certificates of donation to representatives of the various scholarship and financial aid programs, including Guanzhong Yin, Business Director of Shanghai Shengxiao Cloud Computing Technology Co., Ltd., representing the donor of the "Bige Inspirational Financial Aid Fund of School of Management at Fudan University." Established in 2025 by Shanghai Shengxiao Cloud Computing Technology Co., Ltd., the fund is intended to support financially disadvantaged students with both strong character and academic performance, and to safeguard the growth and development of young scholars.
Student representatives of the scholarship and financial aid recipients presented gifts to the donor representatives.
The award ceremony was hosted by Song Jiang, Assistant Director of the Development Office of School of Management at Fudan University.

The School hopes that the students continue to move forward and strive for greater heights while receiving scholarships and financial aid, contribute the strength of youth to social progress, carry forward the spirit of public service, and march toward the future with even greater aspirations.
