4月25日,飞利浦公司一行六人在管理学院党委书记黄丽华教授的陪同下,来到聚劲论坛,其首席供应官Ms. Kux进行了Creating value in the 21st century 的主题演讲。
Ms. Kux先后出任了Asea Brown Boveri AG和Nestlé公司的副总裁,曾在Ford Motor 公司出任执行总监,于
2003年加入飞利浦公司并成为集团公司管理委员会委员。Ms. Kux被世界经济论坛评选为全球最具潜力的未来领导者。
Ms. Kux的演讲主要由四部分组成:21世纪的世界经济挑战,调整供应管理创造价值,在创新和可持续发展中创造价值,及我们面对变化应当采取的策略。
首先,Ms. Kux分析了21世纪的经济挑战。Ms. Kux从不同文化背景、不同国家的员工在工作场所中的新的组合到网络管理,从全球经济一体化到技术差距的淡化,从不同的侧面向MBA学子展示了变化中的全球经济及变化给我们带来的挑战。其次,Ms. Kux以飞利浦公司供应管理的转变和发展为例,结合调整后的飞利浦公司的业绩表现,阐述了调整供应管理为飞利浦公司创造的有形和无形价值。接下来,在创新和可持续发展中创造价值部分,Ms. Kux结合飞利浦公司的产品创新和可持续发展战略,与我们分享了创新和可持续发展在公司发展中的重要作用。最后,Ms. Kux指出21世纪是一个全新和不断变化的世界,在这样的环境下我们应当接受世界的变化,并适应这一变化,在变化中发展自身、创造价值。

Today, we have the honor to get an excellent speech from Philip CPO, BABARA. BABARA mainly talked about what was her definition of industry value chain, and how Philip did well in improving the implementation of this mission. It is no doubt that Philip has done a good job in integrated the whole value chain in relative industry. According to what BABARA displayed on her speech, Philip has been successful in investing oversea market, like in china.
What is the attributes to succeed in doing business in China? BABARA gave us the answer which was delegation to local executing team. Philip gave enough confident to local executing team’s capability in executing Philip’s business targets and goals. And the local professional management holds both of sufficient local market acquaintance and broad global view. This leads to their success in China market for Philip.
Philip success in china delivers a message that as a talent manager of MBA, who hold the advantage of both of local background and global perception, can play a key role in 21st century’s globalization.
