亚洲三校首创双学位Asia MBA

由中国复旦大学、韩国高丽大学与新加坡国立大学三所亚洲顶级名校首度携手共创的“AsiaMBA”项目经过精心筹备，于昨天正式启动。来自世界各地的学生将有机会在今年秋季正式开始跨越亚洲三地的学习生活。

 “AsiaMBA”项目是全球首个也是目前唯一的融会中国、韩国、新加坡三国教育、商业、文化特色的MBA项目。它包含了三个学期的课程，并分别在复旦大学、韩国高丽大学和新加坡国立大学完成。学习合格的学生不仅可以获得一个本国学校所授予的硕士学位，还能在另外两所学校中任选一所，申请并获取该校的硕士学位。

这个项目将依据这三所亚洲名校教授们的优秀专业背景和行业咨询经验，整合三所名校的教学精英，全心构建高质量、面向亚洲市场需求的师资队伍，从而使学生在单个MBA项目的学习中，就能熟知中国、韩国和新加坡三国名师的真知灼见。

Study in three cities for this MBA degree

SEOUL, Shanghai and Singapore will provide the backdrop to a unique tri- semester double degree MBA programme launched yesterday.

The collaboration — dubbed S3 Asia MBA — between Fudan University, Korea University and the National University of Singapore will see students spending the first semester in Shanghai, followed by the second in Seoul and the third in Singapore.

Starting in September, the programme enables graduates to obtain one home degree and either of the two host degrees, based on their preference.

The initial intake will comprise some 60 students from all over the world, with the goal of preparing them for senior leadership positions in major Asian and global locations.

One of the reasons for this special arrangement is to enable students to acquire acute business management foundations while learning about the cultural and socio-political insights offered by the three cities. The stints will also provide networking opportunities, as students will get direct exposure to business and public sector leaders.

"The uniqueness of the S3 Asia MBA will give business leaders an in-depth understanding of the challenges and complexities of business in Asia, and of the historical opportunities available for firms," said the three business school deans in a joint statement during the signing ceremony.

Singapore serves as a fusion between East and West; China, which is experiencing an economic boom, is a rich source of traditional philosophy and management concepts; while South Korea, despite the influences of its neighbours, has maintained a distinct identity that is reflected in its business culture.

Together, the universities' business schools offer 237 years of combined expertise. Faculty members, comprising professors from around the world, have been selected for their outstanding track record in industry and consulting.
