Adrian T. H. Kuah, PhD has over eleven years experience in consulting and coaching senior executives. He has taught on Harvard, Manchester, TIASNimbas and Bradford MBA programmes. He is a Subject Matter Expert of the Chartered Management Institute and a Scholar of the Advanced Institute of Management Research in the UK. He holds senior visiting positions at the University of Manchester (UK), Grenoble Ecole de Management (France), and is an affiliate faculty at the Harvard Business School (US).
·Content of the lecture
Competitive Advantage is an overtly used terminology and taken to mean too many things. This lecture discusses the important premise from a Value-Price-Cost continuum, covering aspects between operations, human resources, and marketing. Professor Kuah will introduce his Principle of Globality and Proximity to firms’ competitive advantage, the theory of clustering, and what those mean for Chinese and foreign businesses operating in the global context.
