Suman Sasmal joined Infosys in 2001. His experience in mainstream IT spans a little over 24 years with substantial exposure in delivery management, general management, business development and profit center / country leadership roles.

Suman joined Infosys in Chicago as a BSM in WENA and was responsible for managing several accounts in the Midwestern US market and pre-sales activities in the region. He was responsible for developing a number of endearing accounts and relationships that eventually meant substantial business growth for Infy – BP, Lexis Nexis, ABN Amro and Motorola among others. Subsequently, he was instrumental in anchoring the delivery of several large accounts in the Insurance & Healthcare business unit, as a Delivery Manager and later as Divisional Manager.　Since Dec’08, he has been a Delivery Head in EUS, where he has led the unit through a 125%+ growth in delivery during the most difficult times. He also led important initiatives at Unit and Org levels and his contribution to iRACE is noteworthy. A team player, his relationship approach to execution and strategic thinking are considered valuable and his leadership has turned several professionals into high-performers in the company. During his career with Infosys, his teams have received multiple recognitions, including the Infosys Excellence Awards and Connect Gold Standard Awards.
